Welcome to a quieter Chobe
Welcome to Nogatsaa Campsite, a secluded base for an unforgettable, low-impact wilderness experience in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Just 80 km south of Kasane, it feels a world away, surrounded by open grasslands, woodlands, and seasonal pans that draw wildlife in the rainy season.
The setting
Nogatsaa is characterised by natural clay-bottom pans that come alive during the rains, creating a haven for wildlife. The campsite is positioned at Kabunga Pans, with a hide overlooking Kabunga Pan for quiet, unhurried viewing.

Six spacious sites are thoughtfully spaced for privacy and tranquillity. Clean, well-maintained ablutions with hot water support comfort in this remote setting, and each site features a firepit for evenings under the stars.

Wildlife viewing
From the hide and across the surrounding landscape, you may encounter big herds of elephants, a growing pride of lions, and elusive wild dogs. Wildlife movements vary, but the hide offers a calm, rewarding way to observe whatever comes in to drink.
