A bird's-eye view
Meet your birding hosts and guides for an introduction to the experience. Depending on arrival times, enjoy your first guided birding drive before returning to the lodge for dinner.
A full day on the Chobe Riverfront, exploring floodplains, riverbanks and wetlands and identifying species by call, movement, habitat and markings. A two-hour river cruise picks up summer waterbirds, raptors and migrants.
Morning and afternoon birding across the pans, woodlands and plains during peak activity, with time for photography, calls, behaviour and the finer detail a traditional safari tends to pass over.
A final morning birding activity and breakfast, then the transfer to Ghoha Hills, adding new species as the habitat changes. Settle in before an afternoon birding activity or leisure time.
A half-day game drive into the Savuti Marsh, working the grasslands, woodlands and seasonal waterways for resident and migratory species alongside Chobe's larger wildlife.
One last morning birding experience, breakfast, and the road transfer from Ghoha Hills back to Kasane.
