Escape to the beautiful Great Olifants River Gorge
This malaria-free, semi-bushveld paradise is cradled in a valley and situated on the banks of the Great Olifants River, less than two hours drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit, on the R555 between Middelburg and Witbank (eMalahleni).
A prepared 6km gravel road is the path that Oom Barrie took back in 1985 to Presidentsrus. He came over the hill and fell in love with the mystical view from afar. With humble beginnings as an Inn, caravan & camping site, Olifants River Lodge was born.
Named God’s Valley, with its indigenous fauna & flora hugging our diverse accommodation from rough camping to luxury Villas set on stunning manicured gardens.
We are an exceptional venue specialising in all aspects of hospitality. Anything from the ideal corporate venue for strategic planning, launching of new products, workshops, expo’s, conferences or team building.
