Travel with interest

Vacations don't always mean time out. Sometimes they give holiday makers the time to further explore their special interests. South Africa has a lot to offer and facilitate many of these activities:

Mountain Biking
With a variety of natural features, South Africa has many mountain biking destinations to fulfill any budding enthusiast's bucket list. From world heritage sites in the Far northen KZN to the scenic Cederberg in the western cape. The possibilities are endless but the experience unforgettable.

Hiking & Trail running
Runners have long favoured some of the well known trails in South Africa, such as those within the Garden Route National Park which host events such as the Salomon Otter African Trail Run. Though this is well known other quality trails include Hogsback trails (Eastern Cape); Krantzkloof Nature Reserve trails (KZN midlands) and various other found within Gauteng; Mpumaplanga and the North West province.

SCUBA Diving
Scuba diving has long been a beloved local past time, the most renowned destinations include Sodwana bay and the Aliwal shoal. Both located on the coast of Kwazulu-Natal they house reefs with varieties of unique sea life.

Photography
Panorama Route; God's Window; Blyde River Canyon these are some of the most epic sites in South Africa. When it comes to the photographer's holiday there is no way to get it wrong, from the "Hole in the wall" on the wild coast to Tsitsikamma in the Garden route. The country is lit with images wanting to be recorded.
