As part of our refurbishment efforts, we have increased the total usable area throughout the Resort for overnight and timeshare guests by 300%. Our new layout now features around 1,800 m2 for exclusive use, including five pools, and a super tube. We have also installed a sliding gate separating our overnight guest and day visitor areas for added privacy. This is opened during the evenings to allow guests full access to the visitor facilities.
Our team has also installed a new communal braai facility for all our resident guests. However, all our resident guests are also welcome to use the facilities located in the day visitor area.
Although day visitors cannot bring cooler boxes onto the premises, they can now reserve braai facilities for exclusive use, which includes a grid, wood, charcoal, and firelighters. They can also order picnic baskets filled with alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. Various grocery items and snacks (yes, ice cream!) can still be purchased at our café.
For those visiting with the whole brood in tow, we have even more space for the kids to roam. The dedicated children’s activity centre is now situated on the day visitor side, close to the Beach Pool, the super tube slide, and water sprayers. Soccer, volleyball, chess, and many other family-friendly games are also available here.
Bookings for day visitors can now be made online. Click Here to book a day visit at the resort.
views with unparalleled charm
Avalon Springs is renowned for its top-notch hospitality and natural hot springs, which bubble to the surface at 43 degrees. These mineral-rich waters, originating from Cogman's Kloof, flow through our nine pools and continue to lure in visitors looking to soak away stress and soothe their aches and ailments.
With fresh refurbishments in recent times, our Avalon Springs has become the go-to for local getaways in the Western Cape. Just two hours' drive from Cape Town, guests can find themselves frolicking in this watery wonderland while enjoying all the benefits of a resort-style holiday. The service is efficient, the atmosphere effortless, and the accommodation plentiful, ranging from hotel rooms and chalets to self-catering apartments and wheelchair-friendly garden suites.
While our naturally warm spring water is the biggest draw card at Avalon Springs, the surrounding views are guaranteed to enrich your soul. Just picture it: towering trees, craggy outcrops, and blue skies reaching as far as the eye can see.
Our on-site Cogman's Restaurant, café, and Dassies Cove poolside bar ensures you'll never go hungry (or thirsty!) during your stay. Other facilities include waterslides, a children's play area, communal braais, and a private wellness spa. Avalon Springs and its surrounds further provide a treasure trove of activities like hiking, golf, and tennis. The town of Montagu is just down the way and offers a fine mix of upmarket restaurants and quirky padstals run by our community of lively locals.
